NLMK Group introduces SAP S/4HANA for Industry 4.0 solutions, first in the CIS

NLMK Group, an international steelmaking company with operations in Russia, the USA, and the European Union, is the first steelmaking company in the CIS to introduce new generation SAP S/4HANA business suite. This platform will not only streamline current business processes but also enable the use of cloud, Internet of Things and Machine Learning technologies on an industrial scale without technical upgrade.

More than 20 information and production systems of NLMK Group’s Russian and European enterprises have integrated with SAP S/4HANA suite. It serves over 6,500 users already. NLMK-SAP Innovations Lab already employs the business suite for its projects.

Thanks to concerted efforts of NLMK Group, SAP Digital Business Services team, SAP Premium Engagement, global support and SAP development within the framework of SAP Early Adopter Care program, this large scale SAP S/4HANA deployment was rapid.
