Sergei Titov

Operator at Energy Markets Department, Novolipetsk

Sergei holds a degree from Lipetsk State Technical University. He joined Novolipetsk as an electrician working on the production shop floor and then at the recovery cogeneration plant. Today, Sergei is with the Energy Markets Department.

Sergei has won three corporate awards: Engineer of the Year 2010, Best Young Professional 2011 and Young Leader 2012.

Sergei obtained four patents for his ideas and developed a number of innovative projects; many of which were highly praised by the research community. In 2011 he was ranked among the Top 100 Young Innovative Leaders in Russia.


“I perfectly understand that I have not fulfilled my true potential yet. The energy industry is one of those that shape our future. I am responsible for energy purchasing, which means that I am a manager who tries to take a glimpse at the future”, he said. “I can say for sure that human capital is now becoming the most important thing, so corporate awards are certainly a great opportunity for young professionals to grow.”
