Development of the Lipetsk region

The future of the plant workers depends on the social and economic stability in the region. Therefore, the sustainable development of the Lipetsk region is an important component of NLMK’s strategy. In this direction, our most important priorities are:

Economic stability in the region

NLMK makes a significant contribution to ensuring employment by providing jobs with a competitive level of wages. The plant employs about 27 thousand workers, engineers and workers of other specialties.

A significant part of the regional budget is generated by taxes and other payments by NLMK. The share of payments by the plant to the consolidated budget of the Lipetsk region is more than 40% annually.

Social contribution

NLMK constantly invests in programs to support education, healthcare and upbringing of intellectual values. Development of sports, including children’s, is also among the priorities.
